Mission

Lions Heart Fellowship empowers incarcerated individuals, promotes recovery, emotional healing, and personal growth— through peer-led rehabilitation that prepares participants for sustainable success both inside and beyond prison walls.

Vision

Our vision is to fully meet the needs for peer-led programming and create a culture within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where men of character, integrity, and values will return to society as productive citizens. We will affect criminal justice reforms that focus on rehabilitating men as the first priority.

Lions Heart Fellowship seeks to reduce recidivism and promote Criminal Justice reform by supporting these peer to peer model of corrections within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. We will accomplish this by seeking material and financial support that is channeled directly to supporting peer-led classes, programs, and events within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Current Projects We Are Supporting

With secured donations to support Peer Educators, Life Coaches, and Field Ministers operating on the Robertson unit with Administration guidance. These model residents are able to lead the classes listed below. With your support we are able to provide materials and financial support to the men leading the change, using their personal experiences to influence and develop relationships with their peers, these model residents strive to develop their peers character, transform their values, all while promoting positive behavior, and helping them return to society as positive contributors.

These projects support our primary purpose which is to promote criminal justice reform with an emphasis on restorative justice there by reducing recidivism.
